ЦВЕТАНА СТОЙЧЕВА МАРИНОВА
(06.07.1941 – 13.03.2006)
Родена е в село Малка желязна, Ловешко

Обучение

Завършва физика на твърдото тяло в Санкт-Петербургския университет (1965)

Получава научната степен доктор по физика в същия университет (1971)

Защитава докторат в областта на физическите науки (1991)

Професионален опит

В Института по обща и неорганична химия при Българската академия на науките е избрана за доцент (1976) и професор (1996)

Създава и ръководи лаборатория по масспектрометрия (1985)

Член-кореспондант на БАН от 2004 година

Преподавателска дейност

Чете курс по електронна спектроскопия в Пловдивския университет (1977–1978)

Научни изследвания

Област на научни изследвания: физикохимия на твърдотелната повърхност; микроелектроника, оптоелектроника и катализ

Научни приноси: Цветана Маринова е основоположник на електронно-спектроскопските изследвания в България

Определя повърхностните физикохимични свойства на полупроводници от групата А3В5, SiC, хидриран силиций, порьозен силиций и междуфазови граници метал-полупроводник

Установява оптимални условия за получаване на тънки окисни слоеве върху неръждаема стомана с висока порьозност, адхезия (слепване mejdu chastici na razlichni veshtestva) и температурна стабилност

С нейно участие са създадени нови методи за определяне на кинетичните характеристики на атоми и молекули върху метални повърхности

Публикации: Има 6 авторски свидетелства и 2 патента, в резултат на което е създадена и внедрена в СМК Кремиковци система за контрол на технологичния процес при производство на конверторна стомана, тънкослойни каталитични конвертори за отработени и вредни газове и др.
